Paula has been repairing woven furniture for about 40 years. I tackle all styles of seat weaving including hand and pressed cane, Dannish and para cord, natural and fibre rush, splint and binder cane. I can do standard as well as fancy patterns. Yes, I do stain if desired. Turnaround time is relatively quick.
Usually I have a select group of children’s woven rockers for sale. They are great gifts for grandparents to give!
I can and do repair many, not all baskets.
I create and sell my baskets made from splint, birch bark, belts and wire.
I DO NOT sell weaving supplies or perform major structural repairs on broken furniture.
What People Are Saying
Very careful and professional work. We needed some intricate and unusual cane work done on 2 chairs to match an older antique set and she did a great job. We were very happy with the quality of the work, how long it took, the cost, and all our interpersonal interactions. Perfect experience.
Paula’s shop is a great place to find an unusual gift., so many cool things in her shop. Paula is a true artist and her creativity and talent is evident in her work- love her chairs and baskets!!!
